WILSON, Woodrow "Woody" of Chelsea, June 2nd. Beloved husband of 63 yrs to Jane (Keenan) Wilson. Loving father of Robin (Wilson) Buckland and her late husband Raymond J., proud “Pup” of Sean R. Buckland.
Woody was the son of the late Frederick A. and Rebecca (Beattie) Wilson and the brother of Frederick, Florence, Walter, William and Annie Maude.
Dear brother in law of Marie (Keenan) O’Callaghan and Roberta Keenan and the late William, James, Robert, Thomas, Arthur, Paul, Alfred Keenan and Joseph O'Callaghan.
He was “Uncle Woody” to many nieces and nephews, also a dear friend to Jean (Petersen) MacDonald.
Woody was a proud veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Army Airborne from 1950- 1953.
He was employed by American Airlines in Boston and Dallas TX for over 30 yrs and retired to Florida where they became “Snowbirds.”
Woody enjoyed learning the history of both the Civil War and WW2. He was an avid Patriots fan and was also there for anyone who needed a helping hand. He will be remembered as a wonderful, and loving man to all.
A service in Woody’s honor will be held at The National Cemetery in Bourne Ma on July 26th at 2pm
