Obituary

 

ESCOTT, Walter W., 79, of Chelsea, MA., passed away on October 26, 2022.  Walter was the beloved son of the late Walter & Hazel (Johnson) Escott also of Chelsea.  He is survived by his two sisters, Judith Fullerton of Alexandria, VA., and Linda Bartlett of Chelsea, MA., and his nieces and nephews Kim (Fullerton) Puiia of Florida., Cheri (Fullerton) Courtney of Alexandria, VA., Holly (Fullerton) Pinksten of Nashua, NH, Shane Fullerton of Winthrop, ME., Kristin (Griffin) Newberry of Swampscott, MA, Colleen (Griffin) Lewis of Peabody, MA., Thomas Griffin of Canaan, NH.,  Malorie Bartlett of Chelsea, MA., Courtney (Bartlett) Erickson of Billerica, MA, and the recently deceased William Fullerton of Gardiner, ME.  He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.

Walter attended the Chelsea school system.  In early years, Walter worked as a cab driver and dispatcher for Greene Cab Co. in Chelsea and later worked as a commercial truck driver. Walter loved football.  He was a trivia buff and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, probably completed four puzzles a day. He will be sadly missed by his many family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a graveside service on Friday, November 4th at 11 AM at Woodlawn Cemetery, 302 Elm Street, Everett, MA.  Those wishing to attend the services, kindly arrive at the gate by 10:45 AM to be escorted to the graveside.
