CAROLAN- Of Chelsea, December 19th. Devoted husband of Theresa D. (Bogdanski). Beloved father of Robert S. Carolan, Jr. and his wife Diane of Saugus. Brother of Joseph A Carolan III and his wife Delia and the late Kevin and Neil Carolan. In accordance to his wishes, funeral services are private.
Born in Everett and a lifelong Chelsea resident, Bob was a graduate of Chelsea High School Class of 1959, For over 20 years, Bob worked in currency transfer for Shawmut Bank in Boston. In his spare time and in retirement, he enjoyed model trains and fishing at his summer camp.
The family suggests that memorial contributions in his memory be made to a charity of your choice.
