MERCADO, Juan- Of Saugus, May 9th. Devoted husband of Maritza (Suarez). Beloved father of Jennifer Briceno and Michelle Mercado both of Florida. Loving son of the late Juan and Luisa (Restrepo) Mercado. Brother of Oscar Mercado, Wilson Mercado, Alfonso Mercado and Ocvaldo Mercado all of Boston and Alberto Mercado of Columbia. Cherished grandfather of Shannelle and Fabian Briceno and Sofia, Mia and Valentina Keefe. Wife concern for family and friends during the Covid-19 pandemic, funeral services will be private. When restrictions are lifted and times begin to normalize, a Memorial Mass will be announced to celebrate his life.
