Hi Eileen,
I am very sorry to find out about Bill. He was very nice to me when I started with Instron as an Engineer in 1983 and recently thought I would try to contact him. I wanted to thank him for all of the time he spent with me explaining how as a young man I should save money in the new 401k he started with Instron saying it was a "gift from the Feds". We both tended to work late and when we would talk in the halls he would patiently tell me the latest info on stocks and bonds. I moved to CA in 1989 and unfortunately we did not have much interaction after that but I wanted to let him know that his advice helped me and many others that I have shared his sage advice with.
