VEGA, Jerry, Jr.- Of Peabody, formerly of Chelsea, unexpectedly, January 2nd. Devoted son of Jerry and Nereida (Anaya) Vega. Father of Isaiah and Jeremiah Vega. Loving brother of Jonathan, Joshua, Justin and Cristina Vega. Cherished grandson of  Lydia Anaya-Santiago and Luis Anaya and Lino and Betsy Vega. Also lovingly survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Committal Services will be private. 

Born in Malden and raised in Chelsea, Jerry has been a resident of Peabody for the last 14 years. For many years he worked in the meat department at Market Basket and for GLSS and for Rudy's Tow and Auto Repair in Peabody.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions in Jerry's name be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 17 Chestnut Street, Peabody, MA 01960.
