Lois Martin Obituary

MARTIN, Lois Inez (Revallion)- Of Chelsea, December 31st. Lois, a lifelong Chelsea resident was born in Chelsea to the late Harold and Dorilie (Reddick) Revallion. She graduated from Chelsea High School after which she married her first husband, the late Robert Lee and later in life she married her second husband, the late John Martin.During this time she graduated from the Chelsea Soldiers Home Nursing Program and had a successful career at the Chelsea Soldiers Home, where she retired after many years. After retirement, she worked part time at Chelsea's Bradlee's Dept Store until they closed their doors.

Lois enjoyed being an active member of the Chelsea Women's Bowling League where she she won 3 trophies for excellence. She also enjoyed her cross word puzzles, crocheting and weekly bingo during her life of leisure.

Lois is survived by her adoring children, Robert Lee, Sherree Lee, Jewel Martin, John Lee, Lois Gullage, Eugene Martin, Ernest Martin and the late Paul Martin. Lois also enjoyed the company of her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and friends and relatives to numerous to name here.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a period of Visitation in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Wednesday, January 5th from 6-8 PM. Committal Services will be private.

For those who wish, the family suggests that memorial contributions in her name be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the address and link listed below.

For those attending the Visiting Hours, the City of Chelsea requires all guests to wear face coverings while in the building.
