D'ESPOSITO, Catherine A. (Malek)- Of Chelsea, December 1st. Devoted wife of the late Frank D'Esposito. Beloved mother of Denise DiMeo of Danvers and Gregory Bradley of Chelsea. Daughter of the late Stanley and Imelda (Francis) Malek. Dear sister of Joan Medberry, Stanley "Dukie" Malek, Dorothy Dobbins, Susan Malek, John Malek and the late Lorraine Mazzoni. A lifelong Chelsea resident, Catherine passed away at Massachusetts General Hospital Sunday afternoon at the age of 86. She loved her family and friends, especially her friends at the Village at Admiral's Way. Cathy had a heart of gold that she tried to hide. She cared and donated to many animal and veterans organizations in the hope of making someones life a little better.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Celebration of Life in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, Chelsea on Sunday, December 8th from 12 Noon until 1:30 PM with a prayer service beginning at 1PM.

Committal Services will be private.
